The CREAM science project (Centre de Recherche en Économie Appliquée à la Mondialisation, Centre for Economic Research into Globalization) is built around both the new challenges raised by globalization and the dynamics that result. CREAM brings economists together to work on macroeconomics, the international economy, development issues (both local and global), the industrial economy, the labour economy, and the social economy. The centre's research is conducted along two axes.
