Axis 4. Health and Society

Body: 
Axis 4 addresses health as a multi-dimensional construct. Health interfaces with environmental and human issues and triggers a great deal of today’s questions about the individual, groups, the environment, politics, and representation. The goal of the Health and Society Axis is to examine these types of questions through the prisms of history, law, psychology, geography, physical and sports activities sciences and techniques, sociology, education sciences, etc. Exploring and explaining health facts means clarifying the complexities of various conditions including social, cultural, historical, cognitive, spatial, economic and political. This research is carried out and developed according to three sub-axes: (1) Disabilities, (2) Health hazards, and (3) Vulnerabilities, Life paths, Healthcare.
